SEA ISLE CITY BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE COMPLETES RESTORATION OF MEMORIAL GARDEN AND CASCADING WATERFALL!  The Sea Isle City Beautification Committee has completed the fund-raising for the second project on its agenda. The Memorial Garden, located at the south end of Sea Isle City at approximately 94th and Landis Avenue, will be dedicated on Saturday, November 28th, at 10:00 am (raindate: Sunday, 11/29/09, 10:00 am). The dedication will begin with an invocation followed by various remarks from City officials. We encourage everyone to participate with the volunteers who have had the Garden & Waterfall reconfigured to a vibrant, colorful tract as a tribute to the City, its residents, and to individuals with fond memories of our town. Hot apple cider and ginger snaps will be available.
SIC is going green!   Everyone can now take advantage of an affordable and easy tree planting service for your Sea Isle home.  The Committee’s dream is to have trees lining the streets of our city, providing you with better curb appeal, more shade and cooler, cleaner air.  A local landscaper will be planting the trees, with a 12 month guarantee, so it does not get any easier than this!  To find out more information on costs, tree choices and sizes and/or to order trees, please read their brochure.
Memorial Garden Pavers!  The Committee plans to improve the Sea Isle’s Townsend Inlet entrance.  They will be renovating the current non-functioning fountain are into a more welcoming and peaceful memorial garden that will be inviting to all.  Plans for the garden have already been developed and provide an opportunity for you to purchase memorial pavers that will be the garden centerpiece.  Would you like to see the plans?    Garden design     Ordering form for memorial pavers
